Beyers Chocolates is expanding its product range with the acquisition of two new confectionery brands: Yotti’s Turkish Delight and Coach House.
“We’re delighted to add these two brands to the Beyers family,” says Kees Beyers, founder and CEO of Beyers Chocolates. “They are both established and successful brands in their own right and this was part of their appeal. Acquiring them is in line with our expansion strategy, where our ultimate goal is to provide retailers with a complete solution of confectionery goods.”
Coach House began making nougat in 1994, igniting the handmade nougat revolution in South Africa. Their product range includes brittle slabs and shortbread biscuits – also made using the macadamia nuts grown on the Coach House farm.
Yotti’s Turkish Delight uses a traditional Turkish recipe to create confectionery of unquestionable quality, with exquisitely delicate flavours. They produce a low GI range and all their products are preservative free, vegetarian, Kosher and Halaal.
“In addition to acquiring these two quality brands we have also gained a wealth of new product knowledge and hugely experienced teams. While we love their current product ranges, we see huge potential for further expansion and we have already started significant product development, so watch this space for more,” says Beyers.
Yotti’s Turkish Delight and Coach House are predominantly available in niche stores, but now that they fall under the Beyers Chocolates brand, the company will be introducing their two new purchases to their large retail clients.
“We’re incredibly proud of the huge range of confectionery that Beyers offers, especially now that we’ve added Yotti’s and Coach House to our offering. We can’t wait to sink our teeth into these new projects so that we can keep on surprising and delighting Beyers confectionery lovers,” says Beyers.
